Mysterious duo Josh and Emma (aka WESLEE) have announced the release of the accompanying official video for their fresh new single 'Boy Like You.' Focusing on a passionate relationship set amidst soft dreamy vocals, the video centres on the infatuation of the lead male figure through a series of personal camcorder style shots filmed around a hazy American summer.
Directed by Alexandra Gavillet, who has recently shot for the likes of Khalid, Hailey Baldwin, and Pusha T, the video - filmed in New York - was originally inspired by a series of images and photos, with Gavillet describing her creative process as taking inspiration from Kanye West, adding: "I try to approach a project in the manner in which he does. I love Kanye the way Kanye loves Kanye."
The video precedes WESLEE's eagerly anticipated performance at Annie Mac's AMP event on 22nd February 2018. Performing at the Jazz Cafe, the duo will be joined by Jessie Ware and Sunflower Bean, as well as BBC Radio 1 tastemaker herself, Annie Mac. An enigmatic pair who choose to stay unidentified, 'Boy Like You', released independently, is set to drop on Friday 1st December, having first created a buzz thanks to an appearance at the end of an episode of Grey's Anatomy. For more information on WESLEE, please visit:
