MDNGHT on stage, J (vocals) Will and Ant (guitars) perform a live show that has more in common with a club night than a traditional 'gig' setting, merging the energy of a live band with the relentless, euphoric excitement of a DJ set. Early live reviews described the bands sound as 'sophisticated disco inspired house' with an onstage charisma and energy that, "hits you like a sugar rush".
With soaring male falsetto vocals led by frontman J, the group's bewitchingly hypnotic sound draws from a diverse range of influences ranging from the classic soul and disco of Chic, the pop-funk of Kool & the Gang, to contemporary dance artists and producers such as Booka Shade, Claude VonStroke and Eats Everything. Their genre shifting sonic has led to hundreds of thousands of streams of their music online, taking to the stage at last year's Radio 1 Big|Brave Weekend and tips for huge things from the likes of The Guardian, Popjustice, Hunger and BBC Radio 1's Huw Stephens who declared "don't be surprised to hear 'Into The Night' break worldwide in 2015."
