Therapy Content and Visual Creatures transformed Dave Grohl into a cartoon to tell the story of how the newest Foo Fighters album, "Concrete and Gold," came together. Overseen by Therapy? Content Executive Producer John Ramsay, Grohl sat in a recording studio and excitedly recounted the years-long process of getting Greg Kurstin to produce the album, and recruiting everyone from Shawn Stockman from Boyz 2 Men to Alison Mosshart of the Kills to Justin Timberlake to guest on the album.
Therapy Content's long time collaborators, design company Visual Creatures, directed and animated the short film, creating a surreal and enticingly creepy 2D world to perfectly match Grohl's storytelling energy. Eddie Kim of Therapy? Studios helmed the sound design for the project, not only capturing Grohl's many voices but layering in music and sound effects to bring the whole thing to life. The short film continues the longstanding creative relationship between Dave Grohl and Therapy? Content, having previously worked together on the Grammy-winning 2013 documentary Sound City, the Emmy and Grammy-winning HBO docuseries Sonic Highways, along with numerous Foo Fighters' music videos including "Run" and "The Sky Is A Neighborhood."Link to film: http://therapystudios.com/videos/foo-fighters-the-making-of-concrete-and-gold
