Global icon and hip-hop artist Waka Flocka Flame is back and better than ever with his new album Flockaveli II, set to drop in early 2018 via Entertainment One (eOne). His first solo album release in five years, the "No Hands" MC returns to his trap roots with the album's first releases "Trap My Ass Off" and "Circles."

"This is the fourth time I've made Flockaveli II," says Waka. "I lost the original version when I lost my hard drives, and then I lost two more after that. With this version of the album I just did it."

Despite the delays, Waka trusted his team, DJs and fans, with the end result being the Louney G-produced club anthem "Trap My Ass Off" to kick off the release, and the super personal and autobiographical "Circles." Produced by longtime collaborator Southside, "Circles" is the EDM-infused track featuring rapper Derez Deshon. The song was the only one that survived from the original Flockaveli II. "It's the only record I have ever made that I had tears in my eyes," explains Waka. "It reminds me of all the pain I overcame." Having recorded 42 different racks, it wasn't easy for Waka and his team to get down to the final 19 to make Flockaveli II. The album features some of Waka's longtime producers including Lex Leuger, Supa Mario and C Notes, as well as newcomers TurnUP Josh.

For Waka, it's always been about remaining true to his roots. He first rose to prominence as Gucci Mane's prote?ge? and his flagship artist of 1017 Brick Squad. In 2009, he released the first volume of his street classic Salute Me or Shoot Me which featured anthems like "We On The Way, "Dreads N Gold" and his breakout single "O Let's Do it." The mixtape was followed by Flockaveli, which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 100. He's since collaborated with fellow A-listers like Drake, Future and A$AP Rocky, and his high energy performances, both in the booth and onstage, have earned him the title of "Turn Up God," and is one of the many reasons that he's been welcomed into the world of EDM. In addition to touring with Steve Aoki, Waka has also recorded with Borgore and Flosstradamus.

With an ever-growing fan base that he calls his family -- 1.9 million Twitter followers (@WakaFlockaBSM) and 2.4 million Instagram followers(@WakaFlocka), Waka says Flockaveli II is for them. "An album is supposed to be personal. People want to hear me," he says. "There was a whole bunch of frustration and anger making this album but I want people to know the same as Flockaveli II. Better delivery, better flow. This is a Waka Flocka album."
