NYC's own WYLDLIFE roll out a raucous video for "Contraband", lead single off its forthcoming album Out on Your Block on January 20. The band celebrates its third album, and first release on Little Steven's own Wicked Cool Records, which drops in the midst of a nine-city tour across the South and Midwest.

Despite donning full police garb, the one thing the new video proves Dave Feldman (vocals), Sam Allen (guitar), Spencer Alexander (bass) and Stevie Dios (drums) are authorities on is rock and roll. The four take over the town in a high-octane, punk-rock masterpiece that's anything but lawful. Feldman shares, "I have a weird fascination with cops. Growing up as a skate rat, I've always had -- shall we say 'issue'? -- with the police. But I have definitely been fascinated with their total power. Law and Order: SVU is my favorite show. Bad Lieutenant is one of my favorite films. So this idea came about with all that in mind."

In typical rock and roll fashion, the band committed to the debaucherous, edge-of-your-seat plotline that "Contraband" offers up and weren't afraid to step outside the box. Dios confesses, "We had to get the stamp of approval from actual police officers via their car radio to shoot our lewd 'cat-calling' scene."

On the heels of two self-released albums and fast, loud shows which quickly established them as an East Coast live favorite, this four-piece outift is poised to rock farther and wider with its new LP, which oozes the spirit of youth, sex, drugs and everything fans love about classic, punk, hard and garage rock. The album, which is one of the first releases in Wicked Cool's new partnership with The Orchard, was recorded in Atlanta and announced via Facebook Video by Steven Van Zandt, E Street Band guitarist, host of Little Steven's Underground Garage and proprietor of the label.

Wicked Cool Records evolved out of "Little Steven" Van Zandt's weekly syndicated radio show and SiriusXM channel, Little Steven's Underground Garage. Van Zandt founded the label as a way to further support new rock & roll that wasn't receiving the recognition it deserved. Among the label's releases are the new album In Orbit by Kurt Baker Combo plus ten critically acclaimed compilations including Halloween A Go-Go, Christmas A Go-Go and The Coolest Songs In The World Volumes 1-8, featuring music from the Underground Garage. In 2016, Wicked Cool Records began a unique distribution deal and partnership with The Orchard encompassing both the label's back catalog and all new Wicked Cool releases.
