Hit singer/ songwriter CJ Solar, whose "American Girls" single is currently receiving rave reviews and significant airplay, has signed with Dreamcatcher for all aspects of career management. Solar has also signed with WME for exclusive agency representation.
"This is like the dream team for me," said Solar, who is signed to Sea Gayle Music Publishing. "These guys have already had me opening for Lynyrd Skynyrd, Chris Janson and Hank Jr., and I'm looking forward to an incredible future with this crew."
In addition to co-writing "American Girls," the latest single from his Get Away With It EP, Solar co-wrote Morgan Wallen's #1 single "Up Down" featuring Florida Georgia Line. Rolling Stone Country named him one of their "New Artists You Need To Know," and Taste of Country named CJ one of their "5 Country Artists to Watch."
About CJ Solar: Born and raised in Baton Rouge, CJ was heavily influenced by Cajun music of the region, along with Southern Rock and Country. He signed to Sea Gayle Music shortly after graduating from Belmont University and has had cuts by Jerrod Niemann, Justin Moore and Texas artists Mike Ryan and Kyle Park. He scored his first #1 as a writer, when Park's "What the Heaven" single topped the Texas Music chart.
His critically-acclaimed Hard One To Turn Down EP, which The Shotgun Seat called "the perfect pairing of country storytelling and rocking rhythms, married by his dynamic vocals," led to him being named one of their "17 to Watch in 17." When his new Get Away With It EP was released, top country entertainment outlet Taste of Country named CJ as one of their "5 Country Artists to Watch in May 2018."
