EW.com reports that country firebrand Chris Stapleton released a video Monday morning for "Fire Away," the latest single off his multiple Grammy and CMA-winning solo debut Traveller.
Check out the video.
The video stars Ben Foster and Margarita Levieva, the video follows a couple through courtship and marriage before dissolving into struggle and, ultimately, tragedy. The video also enters into a dialogue about mental health awareness, specifically through The Campaign to Change Direction. Foster introduced Stapleton to the organization, and here they both serve it well.
Stapleton is in the midst of a seemingly unprecedented breakout since releasing Traveller last summer. After taking home three CMA Awards - Album of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, Best New Artist - watching his album jump to No.1, booking enormous festival appearances at Coachella and Bonnaroo, playing Saturday Night Live and most every other late night show, he won two Grammys and announced a short tour with Hank Williams Jr. He is currently nominated for four ACMs, which will air in April.
