New York metal band, Voices of Extreme are in the midst of supporting legendary former Queensryche vocalist Geoff Tate's The Whole Story Accoustic tour. The trek has performed to capacity crowds with upcoming shows in Nashville, New York and Pennsylvania. In addition to Voices of Extreme performing unplugged for the first time, the tour features Tate performing unplugged versions of hits spanning from his 35 year legendary career.
Hailing from New York, Voices of Extreme is a powerful metal ensemble led by vocalist and lead guitarist Don Chaffin (Red Lamb) with Steven G. Knight (Bellicose) on bass and Bobby Marks (Dokken, Eddie Money, Joe Lynn Turner) on Drums. Long time collaborator and former Anthrax Guitarist Dan Spitz (and producer of the band's debut album Hypocrite) has described Voices of Extreme as: "This powerful and crushing [trio] is reminiscent of nothing before, but does fall into the realm of Stone Sour, Shinedown meets Soundgarden with a slamming riff master twisting it to a completely new level of new guitar tones, sounds, tapestries and emotional rides." Chaffin and Spitz completed a 25-date Red Lamb tour in 2013 in support of the band's self-titled debut album, which was released in February 2012. The 12-song effort was co-produced by Dave Mustaine (Megadeth) and Spitz and was described in a press release as "explosive hard rock, pop punk, alternative rock, with a taste of thrash."Videos
