Victoria + Jean Debuts 'Until it Breaks' Video via NOWNESS

Swedish-Belgian avant-gritty pop duo Victoria+Jean has just unveiled the visual accompaniment to their song "Until it Breaks" via NOWNESS. The unforgettable tune comes off of their latest album, Divine Love, released in April of 2016. Watch "Until it Breaks" here

Meeting each other was a catalyst for greater things. Victoria, playing solo and in bands, was starting to believe that she would never make the music she loves. Things changed when she met Jean, and the two became Victoria+Jean - creatively and romantically.

Directed by Melanie Tourneur, the video pays homage to the strikingly haunting song it possesses. Tourneur creates thematic symbols using a pastel method to animate Victoria's brooding voice. Colorful, symbolic and visually seductive, "Until it Breaks" is a continuation of the duos exploration of belonging and identity. On the creation of the video, Tourneur reflects:

"I immediately felt comfortable with the song and i's universe was exactly what I was looking for. I liked the lyrics and the rather dark tone of the song. I quickly had symbols and images in my head. They gave me Carte Blanche and trusted me 100% which helped my work become so much easier."

The release of the "Until it Breaks" video marks the beginning of the end of Victoria+Jean's music video project, with visual accompaniments to each song off of the Divine Love album. The creative duo especially praise the new video, stating:

"We particularly appreciate this one, because Melanie seduced us at the first sight...it once again reminds us of the simplicity, which could be seen through a child's eye. The message of this video clip is simple: It's fascinatingly beautiful and unique."
