"Someone To Stay," the third single from rising Australian band Vancouver Sleep Clinic's forthcoming debut album, premieres today on Billboard - listen here.

Vancouver Sleep Clinic, led by singer, songwriter and producer Tim Bettinson, is currently on their first-ever North American tour. The band is supporting Daughter on select dates this fall and will play their first U.S. headline shows at San Francisco's Rickshaw Stop on November 28 and Los Angeles' Bootleg Theatre on November 29. The full list of tour dates can be found below.
Vancouver Sleep Clinic recently performed an acoustic set for Billboard via Facebook Live-watch and listen here. The band played their two previously released singles, "Lung" and "Killing Me To Love You," in addition to "Someone To Stay." Zane Lowe recently premiered "Killing Me To Love You" on Beats 1 Radio, calling Vancouver Sleep Clinic part of "a lineage of fantastic art and artists that come from Australia."

Tim Bettinson, the creative force behind Vancouver Sleep Clinic, is a 21-year-old singer, songwriter and producer from Brisbane, Australia. The band's first EP, Winter, was self-released on SoundCloud in 2014 with few expectations. However, it quickly attracted a global audience and has garnered over 30 million streams and 100 thousand digital sales to date-prompting The Guardian to hail Bettinson as "the new teen wonder of Australian indie folktronic R&B." Following the success of Winter, Vancouver Sleep Clinic became a well known name with a sold-out tour of Australia and Europe.

Bettinson's latest work, including "Someone To Stay," was written while on a break from touring during a volunteer trip to Cambodia and the Philippines-an experience which put his own circumstances into an acute perspective. This resulted in songs which Bettinson says, "follow the journey of finding my place in the world and finding my feet in what I was doing."

After crafting demos in his home studio, Bettinson travelled to Los Angeles and enlisted the help of producer Al Shux, who has produced hits for Jay Z, Lana Del Rey, Alicia Keys and Lianne La Havas. Further music from Vancouver Sleep Clinic is slated for release later this year.
