Van Wezel Holiday Performances to Feature Local Choirs

Sarasota Middle School Honor Choir will perform an opening number of "Joyful Voices" on the evening performance of Dave Koz's Holiday Tour at the Van Wezel, Friday, November 28 at 8pm. The Honor Choir will also sing "Dream of Peace" with Dave Koz guest Christopher Cross as well as some of the choirs own selection of a few songs. Sarasota Middle School Choir's teacher is Nadia Sawa.

Gloria Musicae, Sarasota's local Professional choir, under the artistic direction of Dr. Joseph Holt, will perform on stage with Grammy winning superstar Kenny Rogers' along with special guest, American country music singer Linda Davis on Saturday, November 29 at 8pm. Gloria Musicae will present selections including; "O Holy Night," "Go Tell It On the Mountain" and "Joy To the World." In addition, the students from Southside Elementary will feature selections at this performance including; "I Believe In Santa Clause," "Silent Night" and "Joy To the World." Southside Elementary choir teacher is Sergei Glushonkov.
