Acclaimed artist and producer Valentino Khan's new song "Gold" featuring Sean Paul is out now. The track also appears on the album companion soundtrack to Major Lazer's forthcoming documentary, Give Me Future. Major Lazer Presents: Give Me Future-Music From and Inspired by the Film features new and unreleased music from Major Lazer, Diplo and more. Of the track, Khan says, "I wanted to make a really fun and danceable moombahton record. I had started out producing moombahton when I first entered the dance music scene, and it was cool to revisit my roots and make a great record with a really good vibe to it."
Additionally, Khan confirms select headline dates in New York, San Francisco, Boston and Chicago as well as a performance at Sacramento's Fright Night with Diplo and Excision. See below for complete tour details.
Khan's track "Pump," which was released this past May on Mad Decent, has garnered over three million streams on Spotify. Billboard hails the song as "the kind of beat that should come with a warning. This is the kind of crunchy rhythm that has you blacking out, like, 'Wait, what did I just do on the floor?' It's a tune so nasty, it had to be released on Mad Decent."
Over his career, Khan has collaborated with Diplo, Skrillex, GTA and Flosstradamus and has been tapped for remixes by Axwell^Ingrosso, Dillon Francis, Diplo and Katy Perry among others. In 2015, he produced his original song "Deep Down Low," which was named the "Most played track by DJ's in 2015" by 1001 Tracklists and Sirius XM's #1 Song on Electric Area.
Khan's production credits include 2 Chainz, B.O.B., Dizzee Rascal, Iggy Azalea and T.I. as well as Major Lazer's hit track "Bubble Butt" featuring Bruno Mars and Tyga.
