A representative of ValCom, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: VLCO) announced today that the company has acquired an interest in 193 additional musical compositions written or co-written by Buck Ram through an agreement with Alicia Bennett, Buck Ram's daughter. Buck Ram is considered by many in the entertainment field to have been one of the greatest songwriters and producers of the 20th century having written or co-written numerous multi-platinum RIAA certified standards such as "I'll be Home for Christmas," "The Great Pretender," "Twilight Time," and "Only You."
Tim Harrington, ValCom CEO, stated "We are pleased to note that a number of noteworthy classic songs such as "Shing-a-Ling-a-loo," "Love Must Go On," "The Big Forget," "We Ain't What We Was," and other Platter Favorites as well as "Hand Clappin" recorded by the Flares are included with the 193 compositions". Mr. Harrington continued "Working together with the CEO of Microhits, Inc. Tony Barlo, our publishing administrator, we have also identified a number of additional songs in which ValCom has a claimed interest. The company already has a significant interest in hundreds of Platters songs and other recording artists' songs which were produced or written by Buck Ram so we are pleased to be able to continue to add more Buck Ram songs to the extensive ValCom Audio catalogue."
