Rising pop group Why Don't We has unveiled the official music video for "8 Letters," the title track off of their highly anticipated, debut full length album. The cinematic clip can be viewed at Why Don't We's YouTube channel, which boasts over 2 million subscribers and counting. 8 LETTERS is available for pre-order now and will arrive at all digital music retailers and streaming services on August 31st via Atlantic Records.
Along with the title track, 8 LETTERS is preceded by a pair of equally popular album tracks, "Hooked" and "Talk," which were released earlier this summer and collectively have garnered over 30 million streams on Spotify alone in just 2 months; their companion videos have logged an additional 30 million views on YouTube. While "Hooked" impressively shot to #3 on iTunes' Overall Songs chart upon its release, ahead of artists such as Post Malone, Shawn Mendes, and Ariana Grande, "Talk" bested that feat, hitting #1 ahead of artists such as Maroon 5, Cardi B and Drake among others
Why Don't We will celebrate the release of 8 LETTERS with a series of high profile TV performances, including a special Labor Day concert in New York City's Rockefeller Plaza for NBC's TODAY, set for Monday, September 3rd. The band will then visit the nationally syndicated Live with Kelly and Ryan for an additional live performance, scheduled for Thursday, September 6th (check local listings).
Why Don't We will support 8 LETTERS with a truly epic live schedule, including a major North American headline tour to be announced soon. Following their sold out North American headlining tour earlier this year - which included multiple nights in NYC, LA, Chicago, and Toronto - the band is taking their exhilarating live show overseas, currently on a tour of Asia, with shows set throughout the month in Thailand, Singapore, South Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, and the Philippines. October will then see Why Don't We crossing the Atlantic for their biggest European tour thus far, with stops scheduled for Spain, France, Ireland, the Netherlands, Germany, and the United Kingdom, culminating in an October 25th finale at London's famed Eventim Apollo Hammersmith.
