EntertainThis! reports that Macklemore has released a new video for his song 'Downtown'. 'Downtown' appears to be Macklemore's own verision of the popular Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars song 'Uptown Funk', except Macklemore's effort lacks the funky horns and charm found in the original.
'Downtown' is about mopeds, featuring the lyrics, "I went to the moped store with shoppers / Salesman like "What up, what's your budget?" / And I'm like "Honestly, I don't know nothing about mopeds" / He said "I got the one for you, follow me". Appropriately, the video features Macklemore and his "squad" riding around downtown on mopeds.
Ben Haggerty, known by his stage name Macklemore and formerly Professor Macklemore, is an American rapper. Since 2000, he has independently released one mixtape, three EPs, and two albums. He has significantly collaborated with producer Ryan Lewis.
