Australian trio Chase Atlantic has dropped the official video for their new song, "Numb To The Feeling," out today on Warner Bros. Records. The release continues the band's fast rise and further solidifies their unique style - a mix of synth-inflected pop and midnight trap soul - which has manifested an explosive growth in the band's social following, amassing more than 63 million global streams and topping one million monthly Spotify listeners.
The band explains, "We delved into our world of dark bliss. We have a strong craving for intense lust, all the while confessing that our fast paced lifestyle of extreme highs and terrifying lows is rendering us 'Numb' to the feeling."
They have always prided themselves on writing and producing all of their own music, a hallmark of authenticity that makes their compositions consistently sound like them. In 2017, the band saw breakout success with the release of their self-titled full-length debut album, earning acclaim from the likes ofBillboard, Alternative Press, Associated Press, and New Noise Magazine who declares, "they have taken modern rap elements and blended it seamlessly with alternative, melodic driven songwriting."
Chase Atlantic is composed of brothers Mitchel and Clinton Cave and their longtime friend, Christian Anthony. While their new music takes on fresh dimensions, it's the stage where their songs come alive in different ways; the energy crackles as they rock in rhythm, with Mitchel delivering powerful vocals, Christian shredding on guitar, and Clinton often breaking out in frenetic saxophone solos that add smooth textures to their often overpowering tracks. In 2018, the band has over 120 shows booked, including performances at this year's top festivals, including Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Reading & Leads, and Firefly Music Festival as well as shows across North America on the final Vans Warped Tour.
