VIDEO: Tegan and Sara Perform Equality-Themed CLOSER on THE TONIGHT SHOW

In case you missed it: Last night Tegan and Sara performed hit single "Closer" on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. The duo performed cloaked in red, in solidarity for marriage equality, complete with a drum kit featuring the Human Rights Campaign logo. Said Stereogum, "On the show, Tegan, Sara, and their backing band all Made a clear and noise-free visual statement in favor of marriage equality, wearing pink stage clothes and displaying a big equal sign on the drums."

Tegan and Sara are at Coachella this weekend, and next. Afterward, they're set to play a string of international shows and festivals.
