The Road to the Live Shows premieres on THE VOICE at a special time, this Thursday November 8 (9/8c) on NBC.

"The Voice" Takes A Look Back On The Road To The Live Shows - Relive the best moments from the season so far during this original jam-packed special chronicling THE JOURNEY of the Top 24 from the blind auditions to next week's live playoffs. Carson Daly ("TODAY Show") hosts.

Chevel Shepherd, 16

Team Kelly

Hometown: La Plata, New Mexico

Resident: La Plata, New Mexico

Chevel's powerful voice does not necessarily match her petite stature at just 16 years old. Chevel was raised on country music and the outdoors-often doing crafts, feeding the animals, and fixing up cars with her dad. Since Chevel was eight, she has been singing in town wherever she can, but there aren't a lot of music opportunities where she lives. Chevel is ready for her talents to be heard BEYOND her small town.

Song: "Travelin' Soldier" by Dixie Chicks

Performance:

Chris Kroeze, 27

Team Blake (Saved by Blake)

Hometown: Barron, Wisconsin

Resident: Barron, Wisconsin

At the age of six, Chris's parents bought him a guitar as an outlet for his energy. With encouragement from his dad, he started singing in middle school. After college, Chris knew he needed to head to NASHVILLE to further his career. His family held a fundraiser in their small town to help him pursue his dream. He met the right people in NASHVILLE and recorded a song at Dierks Bentley's studio with some of Dierks' backing band. Now back home in Wisconsin, he currently plays 200+ shows a year and travels overseas to play for the troops in the Middle East.

Song: "Burning House" by Cam

Performance:

Colton Smith, 21

Team Jennifer (Stolen from Team Blake)

Hometown: Albertville, Alabama

Resident: Nashville, Tennessee

Growing up in Alabama wasn't always easy for Colton as he struggled to meet the many expectations of being a stereotypical boy. From a young age, Colton knew that he was gay and was not openly accepted by his community. He turned to theater and songwriting to help process his emotions. It wasn't until college that Colton gained a sense of freedom. With the support of his mom and stepdad, Colton feels THE VOICE is his platform to showcase his musical calling.

Song: "Lady Marmalade" by LaBelle

Performance:

DeAndre Nico, 22

Team Adam

Hometown: Port Arthur, Texas

Resident: Houston, Texas

DeAndre has been captivated by music his entire life. Some of his earliest memories involve playing drums, piano, and singing in school. After high school life was normal for DeAndre until Hurricane Harvey devastated his hometown. DeAndre's family lost everything from clothes to cars and even their home. Although THE FAMILY plans to rebuild, DeAndre is hoping to find his new home on THE VOICE stage.

Song: "Wanted" by Hunter Hayes

Performance:

Kennedy Holmes, 13

Team Jennifer

Hometown: St. Louis, Missouri

Resident: St. Louis, Missouri

Despite her age, KENNEDY is no stranger to the spotlight. KENNEDY is continuously showcasing her singing and dancing talent in various theater productions at the famous St. Louis venue, The Muny. Music came into Kennedy's life at two years old when she would sing to her mom. KENNEDY sang Jennifer Hudson's "I Am Changing" at her first public performance. As the youngest in the competition this season, KENNEDY is BEYOND excited about the opportunity to sing for the coaches.

Song: "What About Us" by Pink

Performance:

Kirk Jay, 22

Team Blake

Hometown: Bay Minette, Alabama

Resident: Montgomery, Alabama

Kirk grew up in Alabama extremely poor and remembers times when there was no electricity, water, or even food. At five years old, Kirk started playing drums at church and singing in choir. In 2014, Kirk met a music manager that took him to perform for Teddy Gentry, the bass player for the band Alabama. In 2015, Kirk started doing open mics and shocked the audience with his country sound. Word spread and bar owners started booking him. Currently, he travels the south with his band Kirk Jay and Kuntry Funk.

Song: "In Case You Didn't Know" by Brett Young

Performance:

Michael Lee, 30

Team Blake

Hometown: Bedford, Texas

Resident: Fort Worth, Texas

Michael Lee knew he wanted to do music from a very young age. Most kids were at home watching cartoons while he was listening to the blues and going to shows. Michael spent his life pursuing blues, until he met his wife. The rocker lifestyle was proving to be too much and Michael hit a low point, but his wife turned everything around for him. The newlyweds do everything together, even jiu-jitsu and kickboxing. Michael thinks his opportunity on THE VOICE is the perfect chance to kick start their life together.

Song: "Whipping Post" by The Allman Brothers Band

Performance:

Sarah Grace, 15

Team Kelly (Saved by Kelly)

Hometown: Houston, Texas

Resident: Houston, Texas

Sarah Grace is a young, southern bell with an artistic side. Sarah had synesthesia when she was younger-a condition in which she would see colors in response to hearing music. While she later lost this sensory gift, it was what inspired Sarah to pursue music. Sarah plays a variety of instruments at her local high school and even started her own band with her family. THE VOICE is an excellent opportunity to jump start her career.

Song: "I'd Rather Go Blind" by Etta James

Performance:

Steve Memmolo, 35

Team Adam

Hometown: Milton, Massachusetts

Resident: Boston, Massachusetts

Steve has always been an entertainer, even as a young kid. His father put the musical bug in his ear by playing him Frank Sinatra. Sadly, when Steve was twenty years old his father was killed in a tragic accident. His dad was always supportive of his music and in order to heal Steve started a band. He now owns and operates his own party band in Boston called Classic Yellow, where they play at weddings and CORPORATE events. In addition to music, Steve also does improv comedy once a week. He feels at home wherever he can entertain and knows his dad would be proud.
