Los Angeles five-piece SO & SO has exclusively premiered their new music video for the single "No Sex" today (11/6) on ArtistDirect.com. The sultry and soulful track is off the band's self-released debut full-length album READY that was released summer 2012. Check out the new video!

"The song is about when a relationship loses that sexual side," lead singer, songwriter, guitarist AMIE MIRIELLO reveals. "When you find yourself as friends and you're not intimate, it's about the incredible frustration at the loss of physical intimacy in a loving relationship, and the sadness it evokes."

SO & SO have acquired success in previous bands and as solo artists, and READY brings together the best from the eclectic indie group--pop, rock, alternative folk, and soul--into a collection of songs that's equally irresistible and inimitable. SO & SO--MIRIELLO, BRANDon Rogers (keys & vocals), BANA HAFFAR (bass), RAISIN HIGGINS (acoustic guitar) and ADAM HANSON (drums & programming)--enlisted the help of top-notch producers Rob Wells (Justin Bieber, Paloma Faith) and Damon Sharpe (Jennifer Lopez, Kylie Minogue, Leona Lewis) as well as engineer Claudio Cueni and cut tracks in various L.A. studios as well as Sony/ATV in Toronto.

SO & SO began in 2009 when MIRIELLO and ROGERS serendipitously crossed paths at a local Los Angeles haunt. MIRIELLO and HIGGINS had penned a crop of songs, and while performing at Molly Malone's together, they met ROGERS. Backstage, they clicked and took a chance performing a couple songs together that MIRIELLO's group had been working on. The impromptu jam in front of that packed house proved magical.

MIRIELLO had previously fronted Dirtie Blonde whose Sony debut spawned the single "Walk Over Me," and as a songwriter and solo artist, she became an indie favorite. Meanwhile, ROGERS made it to the Top 12 on the sixth season of "American Idol" and provided background vocals for everyone from Christina Aguilera and Usher to Justin Timberlake. Still, they'd never quite tapped into chemistry like this before meeting.

"Amie is my kindred vocal spirit," affirms ROGERS. "We have a connection that's irreplaceable. I swear we can read each other's minds. We've all been in other projects, but none of them were even remotely like this. It's an incredible energy."

SO & SO has performed on Los Angeles morning show Good Day LA and has been written about in US Weekly, LA Weekly, ABC Family's "Band on the Rise," Campus Circle, Examiner.com, ChinaShopMag.com and more. They have garnered a reputation for their energetic and passionate live performances.
