Fueled By Ramen recording group Paramore has unveiled the the first taste of their new single NOW, part of their new self-titled album, "PARAMORE". The single is out Jan. 22 - check out a first listen below!

Paramore arrives everywhere on April 9th, 2013.

The Grammy-nominated band's first all-new release in more than three years, "PARAMORE" marks the eagerly anticipated follow-up to 2009's RIAA gold-certified "brand new eyes." The album -- Paramore's fourth full-length studio recording -- was produced by Grammy-nominated producer Justin Meldal-Johnson, known for his work with such diverse artists as Beck, Nine Inch Nails, Tegan and Sara, and M83. The first single from "PARAMORE" is entitled "Now." More information on the new album to be revealed soon.

Paramore -- singer Hayley Williams, bassist Jeremy Davis, and guitarist Taylor York -- first unveiled the news via a personal blog announcement at the band's official website www.paramore.net. "The whole making of this album was a rediscovering of ourselves as a band and as friends," the band wrote. "It was a process that allowed us the freedom to explore new territory artistically and to liberate ourselves as musicians, singers, as people! Sincerely, we feel that the best way to give it a name is just to call it what it is. This album is us." (full blog post)

The band will herald the release of "PARAMORE" with a much-anticipated Southeast Asian/Australian tour. The trek includes dates in Thailand, Malaysia, and the Philippines, as well as a prominent role on Australia's annual Soundwave festival tour. More touring news will be unveiled soon -- please see www.paramore.net/tour for further updates and information.

The follow-up to 2007's RIAA platinum certified second album, "RIOT!," "brand new eyes" officially established Paramore as one of the most popular and significant bands of the modern era. Produced by Grammy Award-winner Rob Cavallo (Green Day, Kid Rock, My Chemical Romance) and co-produced by the band, the album entered the SoundScan/Billboard 200 album chart at #2, logging the biggest first-week sales of Fueled By Ramen's history at that date. The album also proved an international phenomenon, entering the album charts at #1 in Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK as well as #2 in Mexico and #3 in Canada.

"brand new eyes" also earned rapturous critical praise from all corners, including an "A" graded rave in Entertainment Weekly, which hailed the "confident" collection as "the one rare punk album that's not afraid to smile." Billboard noted that the album marks Paramore's "full-fledged introduction to rock's elite class," while MTV.com decreed the band to be the new "Kings and Queen of the South." "More than just a punk-pop band," declared USA Today, "Paramore is a band you can believe in." The New York Times' Jon Pareles praised "brand new eyes" for "broad(ening) the band's dynamics without sacrificing momentum," commending Paramore for "as skillfully as any band around, merging drive and detail." Spin summed it up best, instantly naming "brand new eyes" to its "30 Best Albums of 2009...So Far" tally.

Fueled by the sensational hit singles, "Ignorance," "Brick By Boring Brick," and "The Only Exception," "brand new eyes" was declared "Album of the Year" in Alternative Press' "Readers Poll '09," and was named the #2 favorite on the magazine's own "Best Albums of 2009" tally. AP also namEd Williams as "Best Vocalist of the Year," while the New York Times' Jon Caramanica placed "brand new eyes" on his 2009 Top 10, praising it for "choruses (that) roll up like tidal waves."

What's more, Spin counted "brand new eyes" among its "40 Best Albums of 2009," noting that Paramore have "entered the rarified world of rock that matters." Spin also named the opening night of "The Paramore Tour" as one of its "30 Biggest Concerts of 2009," calling it "an exhilarating and unifying moment for fans bent on making Williams their generation's Gwen Stefani."

Further honors rolled in, including Paramore being named "Favorite Rock Band" at the 2010 People's Choice Awards. "The Only Exception" received a Grammy Award nomination for "Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals" to go along with their previous Grammy Award nomination for "Best New Artist" in 2008. In addition, the band's top 40 smash single, "Decode" -- featured on "TWILIGHT - ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK" -- received a Grammy Award nomination as "Best Song Written For Motion Picture, Television, Or Other Visual Media."
