Nick Jonas didn't let a little rain get in the way of his live performance of 'Jealous' at last night's MTV EMA's. Instead, the now solo artist ripped off his jacket and soaked up the downpour. Check it out below!

Nick Jonas, who most recently appeared on Broadway in 'How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying', launched his professional career at age 8 as 'Young Scrooge/Tiny Tim' in A Christmas Carol and followed it up with roles in the Broadway productions of LES MISERABLES, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST and Annie Get Your Gun withReba McEntire. In the last year, he's returned to his roots on the live stage, taking on the role of 'Marius' in London's West End production of LES MISERABLES as well as at the 25th Anniversary Concert at The O2 Arena. Most recently, he starred as 'Link Larkin' alongside Harvey Fierstein andMarissa Jaret Winokur in the Hollywood Bowl's production of Hairspray.

Last night, one of the biggest global annual music events celebrating the hottest artists from around the world, the 2014 MTV EMA kicked off live from the Klipsch Amphitheater in Miami. Entertainer Nick Cannon and actress Molly Tarlov hosted the event that included an electrifying performance of 'Jealous' from multi-talented recording artist and actor, Nick Jonas and pop quintet Fifth Harmony wowed the audience with their first ever performance of hit single 'Sledgehammer.' Pop artist and Miami native Jake Miller brought the crowd to their feet with his chart topping song 'Dazed and Confused.'

During the U.S. telecast, it was announced that Australian sensations 5 Seconds of Summer won MTV's "Artist on the Rise" award which was voted on by fans.

Meanwhile in Glasgow, the 2014 MTV EMA was punctuated with outrageous, unexpected moments, once-in-a-lifetime collaborations and rousing performances that will undoubtedly go down in history. This year's show transformed Glasgow's SSE Hydro into an unforgettable time-travelling extravaganza, catapulting viewers through memories of the most outlandish moments in the MTV EMA's 20-year history.
