Below, check out the video premiere of "Dance In Between the Moments," by Svetlana and the Delancey Five ft. Wycliffe Gordon with music and lyrics by the band's drummer and album co-producer, Rob Garcia. The song pays tribute to their swing dancer following and is one of the songs on their critically acclaimed record, Night at the Speakeasy (Origin Records, 2016, produced by Grammy Award winning Guy Eckstine, ft. Wycliffe Gordon). NY Music Daily called the song "arguably the album's strongest moment; a sardonic, vivid, indelibly New York salute to escapist behavior on the Lower East Side."

The song is also a tribute to the band's weekly residency at the NYC speakeasy, The Back Room which is frequented by dancers, tourists and lower east side socialites alike. In fact, the band's name, Delancey Five, is taken from the geographical location of the Back Room, which was the speakeasy behind famed Rattner's Deli on Delancey Street. For many years, The Back Room was literally the place where, among other things, crime lords Myer Lansky and Lucky Luciano once held their meetings. The Delancey Five band's name pays homage to New York City's history.

The video features friends of the band, Gaby Galore and Her Sugar Shakers Dance Company, as well as tap star, Michela Marino Lerman that performed with Svetlana & The Delancey Five at the 2015 Blue Note Jazz Festival at B.B. King.

The video also features trombonist and mentor of the band - musical ambassador and interpreter of America's music - Wycliffe Gordon. Gordon is known as one of the top trombonists of his generation, named "Best in Trombone" by the Downbeat Critics Poll three years in a row (2012-14) and "Trombonist of the Year" for 8 years by the Jazz Journalists Association.
