VIDEO: Kelly Clarkson Performs 'Heartbeat Song' on AMERICAN IDOL

Superstar Kelly Clarkson returned to AMERICAN IDOL last night to serve as both mentor and performer. Below, check out her live performance of 'Heartbeat Song' from her new album!

During last night's show, Ryan Seacrest announced the Top Eight finalists on AMERICAN IDOL XIV - Quentin Alexander, Clark Beckham, Joey Cook, Nick Fradiani, Jax, Tyanna Jones, Qaasim Middleton and Rayvon Owen. It was revealed that Owen and Daniel Seavey were in the bottom two and America had the chance to save one of them with the IDOL Fan Save via Twitter. Owen received the most votes from the IDOL Fan Save and therefore continues in the competition, while Seavey, from Vancouver, WA, was eliminated.

Next week, Wednesday, April 8 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), Florida Georgia Line will mentor and perform on the "Billboard Hits"-themed show. In addition, Jason Derulo will also be a mentor, and will perform his new single, "Want to Want Me." There also will be a special performance of "Trouble," with Iggy Azalea, featuring Jennifer Hudson.
