VIDEO: Jennifer Hudson, Carrie Underwood & More Featured in New AMERICAN IDOL Promo

Kelly Clarkson, Jordin Sparks, Carrie Underwood and Jennifer Hudson are among the former American Idol contestants featured in an all-new promo for the show's upcoming 13th season. Below, get a first look at the ad which highlights the history of the hit FOX competition.

Similar to a Facebook timeline, the new promo highlights important events which took place over the past 12 seasons of American Idol, including the announcement of the winning contestants and the success stories of Idol alum.

Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez and Harry Connick Jr will be featured as the judges on the new season of the singing competition. FOX has confirmed that the show will return with a two-night premiere on January 15 and January 16.
