JD McPherson's new music video for "Head Over Heels" premiered today via the Americana Music Association. Produced by Delo Creative, the video presents the latest single from McPherson's current, critically acclaimed album Let The Good Times Roll. Of the video, McPherson comments, "We set up our equipment in a roller rink in South Oklahoma City, invited a bunch of folks who skate there regularly, and tried to channel The Sonics. It was a fun shoot." Take a look at the music video!

The official music video for the album's title track recently premiered at Rolling Stone. Pastealso premiered a studio video for the track, which can be viewed here. Furthermore, Billboard recently premiered the video for an unplugged version of the eighth track on the album, "You Must Have Met Little Caroline?" praising McPherson as a "killer live act." Watch the video here.

Following a sold-out European tour earlier this year, McPherson and his longtime band-Jimmy Sutton (upright bass), Jason Smay (drums), Ray Jacildo (keys) and Doug Corcoran (saxophone, guitar, keys) - are in the midst of an extensive North American tour and have added new Europe dates as well. See below for complete details.

Let The Good Times Roll recently debuted at #1 on Billboard's Heatseekers Chart (Rounder Records). In celebration of the album's release, McPherson returned to the "Late Show with David Letterman" to perform the title track. The performance can be viewed here: http://bit.ly/1EUtHp1. Additionally, NPR's "Weekend Edition Sunday" featured McPherson on the program. Listen to the full interview here: http://n.pr/1Ca7ksO. Moreover, of the music, NPR Music critic Ann Powers praises, "There are people who imitate and people who work within that genre...that become original. And I really think that JD is doing that with his band..."

Produced by Mark Neill (The Black Keys' Brothers, Old 97s, Los Straitjackets) along with McPherson, Let The Good Times Roll was recorded at Soil of the South Studio in Valdosta, GA. Additional recording was done with Alex Hall at HiStyle Studio in Chicago, IL and Michael Trepagnier at 3CG Studio in Tulsa, OK. McPherson also co-wrote the song "Bridge Builder" with Dan Auerbach. Of the new album, McPherson comments, "Much of the new song material was asking for a different sonic treatment. I was thinking of these big, bombastic sounds; lots of guitars, tons of percussion; plate reverb."

This new music follows McPherson's widely-praised 2012 debut, Signs and Signifiers, which KEXP described as, "...a scorching rock 'n' roll record that sounds like it could have been recorded in the '50s without seeming retro. Engineered to restore your faith in rock 'n' roll, it'll have you involuntarily snapping your fingers and bobbing your head" and MOJO magazine called it, "...an utterly irresistible, slicked-back triumph." Additionally, surrounding Signs and Signifiers, McPherson was selected as a Rolling Stone "Artist to Watch," an NPR Music "Artist You Should Know" and a WXPN "Artist to Watch." He was also awarded "Best Rock/Hard Rock Album" at the 2012 Independent Music Awards.
