Actor, singer and writer Frank Lawson has just released his uplifting music video for his new love song "Come On" from his new album Goldie. Check it out below!

Lawson is currently playing Ted in the spectacular concert version of North of Hollywood, West of Vine, an original musical starring Raya Yarbrough at The Greenway Theatre in Los Angeles. Frank Lawson's album Goldie released this week and is now available on iTunes.

Nicknamed Goldie after the sexy leading Pimp in the 1973 blaxploitation film, The Mack, Lawson actually grew up listening to greats like Luther Vandross, George Michael and Frank Sinatra which fueled his artistic fire and daring creativity. Like his influences, he infused effortless control, sexiness and class into his own sound.

Although he has sung across the US, Caribbean and Europe, it wasn't until a life-changing opportunity to travel throughout Asia in the hit Broadway show RENT that Lawson really understood the amazing impact music has on people all over the world. It's this world view that inspired the vibrant and unique sounds of his uplifting EP "Goldie".

With powerful anthems like 'The Spark', the romantic uptempo 'Come On' and the down home trumpet-driven 'Hummin', Lawson's music will inspire and touch people across the board. This self-taught vocalist fuses his velvety, classic tenor with the lush, rock and electro production of his producer Dan Whittemore. It's this collusion of R&B, theatrics and rock that breathed new life into the sweet music they call Lawsonsoul."
