Broadway and television actress Isabela Moner recently took to the recording studio to lay down a cover of Duffy's "Mercy." The thirteen-year-old EVITA alumna refers to the track as a "jam session," but could this also be part of her upcoming, self-titled solo album? Isabela Moner, AEA, SAG and AFTRA, at just thirteen years old, is highly regarded as a singer, actress, dancer, and songwriter. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Isabela made her debut on Broadway with the revival of "Evita" at age ten. That same year, Isabela made her national and international television debut as a singer in The Next Big Thing New York. She earned her first feature film lead role in the critically acclaimed "The House that Jack Built", winner of numerous awards at film festivals across the United States.
As a soloist, Isabela performs at benefits and venues in New York City and Cleveland, such as the Lincoln Center, Severance Hall, 54 Below, The Cutting Room, Joe's Pub, and others. In addition, she has appeared in the Opera Cleveland production of I "Pagliacci". She has earned the honor of performing as a soloist with the Cleveland Pops Orchestra and, has performed alongside Jon Anderson from "Yes" and Billy Jonas while being accompanied by the Contemporary Youth Orchestra.
