Colleen Ballinger, who's also known as Miranda Sings, posted a new video yesterday in which she announced that she is taking a break from performing. Ballinger is pregnant, and said she will not be able to tour until long after her baby is born.

Ballinger told the story of how she got started performing as Miranda, and why she's going to miss it so much. Watch the video!

Miranda Sings is the creation of Colleen Ballinger, a multi-hyphenate actor, comedian, trained vocalist, writer and executive producer. Best known for portraying her character "Miranda Sings", Colleen has over 20 Million followers across social media and passed 2 Billion views on YouTube. Miranda is a hilarious parody of a young, self-absorbed singer with more far more confidence (and vibrato) than talent, she's known for her overdrawn red lips, questionable advice about singing and life and over-the-top rants about her family and personal problems.

In addition to her impressive viral video stardom on the internet, Colleen/Miranda has appeared on TV on Jerry Seinfeld's Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, she regularly appears on Live with Kelly & Ryan and served as a guest co-host on TheView. Colleen is also the executive producer and star of Haters Back Off, starring as Miranda, which aired for two seasons on Netflix.

Colleen is also a New York Times Best Selling author. Her new book "My Diarrhe", the "leaked" diary of Miranda Sings, will be out July 10. More at: http://www.simonandschuster.com/books/My-Diarrhe/Miranda-Sings/9781501192180

Colleen/Miranda performed to thousands and thousands of fans on the previous You're Welcome Tour including sold-out performances in the U.S., Canada, Australia, England, Ireland, Denmark, The Netherlands and Norway.
