Scottish duo 'Boards of Canada' continues to tease its rapidly growing fan base with new material and isn't stopping anytime soon. Billboard reports that the group has released a new video for their song 'Reach for the Dead' which is the lead single off their new album 'Tomorrows' Harvest.'

It is the first indication of what producers Michael Sandison and Marcus Eoin have been doing in the nearly seven years since they released any new music. The last recordings released came from 2006's 'Trans-Canada Highway.'

In recent weeks the group has released small recordings and clips of new material, merely teasing their fan base. If their fans were hoping for anything like their last release, 'Davyan Cowboy', then they will be disappointed because it is not like that. 'Reach for the Dead' is an experimental and slightly off-key. There are no drum kicks until almost three minutes in which their fans may recognize as the only recognizable part.

The video portrays hazy imagery of a bleak desert juxtaposed against an anonymous ghost town. 'Tomorrow's Harvest' is scheduled for release on June 7th in Australia, the 10th in Europe and finally the 11th in North America.

'Boards of Canada' has not been in the public eye much but that is exactly what they want. They keep their fans guessing as to what's coming next and it is no different with 'Reach for the Dead.'
