ULTIMATE DOO WOP SHOW with Dion Returns to Baecon Theatre, 6/4

The Ultimate Doo Wop Show returns to The Beacon Theatre on Saturday, June 14, 2014 for its Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame Spectacular, presented by Canterbury Productions & Star Productions. Tickets go on sale Friday, November 15, 2013 at 10:00AM.

The 7th Annual, pre-Father's Day doo wop event is a tradition at the Beacon Theatre and will feature the "King of the New York Streets," Dion, as this year's headlining artist. A very rare occasion, this is the first time in over a decade that Dion has performed in a Doo-Wop show in NYC!

Dion is revered by such luminaries as Bruce Springsteen, Paul Simon, Billy Joel and the late, great Lou Reed to name just a few. Not only timeless, he is the embodiment of rock and roll and its history. Hall of Famer, Dion, will perform a full concert encompassing the entire second half of the show.

He will be supported by a stellar cast befitting this special concert, Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame inductees all: Charlie Thomas' Drifters, Shirley Alston-Reeves, original lead singer of The Shirelles, the Soul Stirrers featuring Willie Rogers with a tribute to Sam Cooke plus a cappella and the Blue Suede Orchestra (lineup subject to change without notice).

Tickets go on sale Friday, November 15, 2013 at 10:00AM and will be available through Ticketmaster Charge By Phone (1-866-858-0008), allTicketmaster Outlets and www.beacontheatre.com. Tickets will be available at The Beacon Theatre box office starting on Saturday, November 16 at 11AM. Ticket prices are $53.50, $73.50 and $93.50.
