NYC noise rocker YUZIMA is on the attack again with new single "Tracy Chapman (No)", a song conjured up two hours after meeting the artist and being shot down when asking if she'd like to do a selfie. "She was hanging outside of my building. I walked up and told her I loved her and was just listening to two of her more obscure tunes; "So" and "The love that you had", and that I'm a musician too. She looked at me like I was a weirdo and turned me down". "I know she's private, so it wasn't completely surprising but it still caught me off guard".

Tracy went on to perform "Stand By Me" later that night on Letterman. But the situation sat on YUZIMA's mind until he decided to pen this tune. He adds, "Funny thing was a couple of weeks later I got one with Patti Smith" he adds, "And I used some of Tracy's own writing tropes in the song". The tune is from his upcoming Insta-Album "Behemoth" and was recorded on home equipment in his Greenwich Village living room. Yuzima mixes his industrial noise, pop choir melodies and some snarky lyrics to do the job. YUZIMA's been called "indie luminary" and has been compared to act's like U2, TV on the Radio and Ariel Pink.
