Touché's newly released debut album It's Fate takes the iconic disco-era to new levels with syncopated synths and smooth rhythms. Comprised of the bombastic LA duo Alex Lilly (the bird and the bee, Obi Best) and Bram Inscore (Beck, Thurston Moore), their two halves touch upon hallucinogenic and esoteric ideas, aiming to find the place where their psyches overlap.
Touché has released a series of exciting singles leading up to their debut full-length including remixes from
Daedelus & Lee Cooper of Twin Shadow. Most recently, NYC's
Midnight Magic put their "magical" touch on album cut "Bad Dreams," transforming the funky ballad into a disco-laced space invader. Check out the "Bad Dreams" (Midnight Magic Remix) MP3 where it premiered with

It's Fate is decorated with unexpected arpeggios and experimental vocals, reverbed and distorted, slicing through like karate chops of pop. The result is anthemic pop pieces darkened by the desires of the human heart and sharpened by personal politics.
