Top Tracks & Albums: Katy Perry Climbs to No. 1 on iTunes With ROAR, Week Ending 8/18

iTunes has become the most comprehensive, streamlined way to purchase music, and BWW Music has rounded up the most popular tracks and albums on the digital marketplace for the week ending Aug 18.
Katy Perry clawed her way to the top of the singles chart on iTunes with latest song ROAR - finally knocking Robin Thicke's BLURRED LINES from the number one spot. LINES fell to second, while Luke Bryan's THAT'S MY KIND OF NIGHT took third. Bryan also held the tenth spot on the list with CRASH MY PARTY.
On the albums side of things, Bryan's latest album was this week's best seller, with Jay Z's MAGNA CARTA...HOLY GRAIL in second, and the soundtrack to Disney's TEEN BEACH MOVIE rounding out the top three.
