When the powerful and legendary voice of Martha Wash and award-winning remixer and songwriter Tony Moran collaborate together, you can almost guarantee a hit song. Radikal Records & Sugar House Music are proud to announce the release of 'Free People (Volume 2),' the latest collaboration between two-time Grammy nominated producer Tony Moran and two-time Grammy nominated vocalist Martha Wash. 'Free People (Volume 2)' is available for purchase today, March 17th 2015.

The two musicians follow up their Billboard Hot Dance Club Chart #1 Single, "Keep Your Body Working" (2007), and their 2014 collaboration, "I'm Not Coming Down," with their new single, "Free People." After a #43 Hot Shot Debut, "Free People" has now made a huge jump to #15 on the Billboard Dance Club Chart for the week of March 28th.

"In a time where people Photoshop their faces because they worry about if they're too thin or too fat or too ugly or too dark, you should just care about the way you want to look for yourself. You have the power," Moran says about the song he wrote and produced. "Free People," which is already climbing up the charts, is a continuation of both Wash's and Moran's positive outlook on life.

Throughout the span of Wash's career, she has personified the message in "Free People." From early days with Sylvester with singing partner Izora Armstead to the classic hit "It's Raining Men" by The Weather Girls, Wash never let preconceived notions on image stand in her way. In 1991, Wash changed the music industry forever when she sang lead vocals on C&C Music Factory's #1 hit, "Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)," but failed to receive credit because of her body type. By standing up for what is right, Wash won the lawsuit, and it is now mandatory for artists to receive rightful credits on albums and music videos.

For the release of 'Free People (Volume 2),' Moran enlisted some of his DJ/Remixer friends to take their hit single on a whole different journey of sounds, from trance to progressive house. 'Free People (Volume 2)' is a total of 12 tracks, and is features mixes by: Victor Dinaire & Bissen,Yinon Yahel, Ezio Centanni & Constantino "Mixmaster" Padovano, and many more.
