The band's 2009 album God & Guns debuted at number 18 on the Billboard Top 200, giving the band their highest debut since 1977, and 2012's Last of a Dyin' Breed reignited the in-studio chemistry the band found with God & Guns producer Bob Marlette to create a guitar driven rock and roll sound. Lynyrd Skynyrd has created some of rock and roll's most enduring anthems including "Freebird" and "Sweet Home Alabama." Over the course of their career, the band has released over 60 albums, sold over 30 million albums, and was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2006.
