Trisha Yearwood, award-winning country music artist and author, makes a stop at Wharton Center for one night only Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014, as part of the "Live at Wharton" series. Tickets may be purchased at www.whartoncenter.com, 1-800-WHARTON or at the Auto-Owners Insurance Ticket Office at Wharton Center.

With a wide array of talents, Trisha Yearwood is one of the highest-selling female artists in country music history, and now a two-time New York Times bestselling cookbook author. From her start as a tour guide at the Country Music Hall of Fame while a student at Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn., to having sold 10 million albums, winning three Grammy Awards, and being inducted as a member of the Grand Ole Opry, Yearwood never fails to surpass expectations.

Yearwood has recorded twelve albums, nine #1 songs, and twenty Top Ten hits, including "She's in Love With the Boy," "Walkaway Joe," and "How Do I Live." She is a three-time Country Music Award winner and a two-time Academy of Country Music Award winner. Yearwood has performed at the Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta, at the White House during President Bill Clinton's inauguration and in Italy with Luciano Pavarotti...at the Maestro's request. Since April 2012, Yearwood hosts a culinary series on Food Network, titled "Trisha's Southern Kitchen," for which she has won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Culinary Program. Her achievements as performer, chef and author continue to inspire, as they showcase her down- to-earth nature, sense of humor and commitment to family.
