This season of Speakeasy sheds light on some iconic musicians and the inspiration that has brought them to where they are today. Gary Clark Jr. discusses his early days of performing and developing a friendship with Jimmie Vaughan. Three-time Grammy Award winning singer songwriter Steve Earle is joined byDavid Simon to share his love of storytelling through song and how politics influence his music. Famed Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason speaks with David Fricke about the early days of the band, groupies, and the legacy that he has helped create. Singer/songwriter Jack Johnson is joined by his good friend and collaborator G. Love and iconic singer/songwriter, musician, and producer Nick Lowe is joined by GQ Editor in Chief Jim Nelson. In the season finale, Seal and his longtime manager Amy Thompson reminisce on his illustrious career and the release of his 10th studio album.
