They Might Be Giants Share Epicly Dark Animated Video By Joren Cull

They Might Be Giants will release their new full-length studio album I Like Fun physically and digitally this Friday, January 19. Jumping with surprises, vitality, and the startling point of view of songwriters and band founders John Linnell and John Flansburgh, the album draws on themes of dread, death, and disappointment set to driving, hyper-melodic music. Their hilarious and ultra-dark video for album title track "I Like Fun" embodies this epic dichotomy. Created by well known illustrator and animator Joren Cull, the "I Like Fun" video debuted with Uproxx today and is available to post/share HERE.
The alternative rock legends have enjoyed accolades from The New York Times, Rolling Stone, Consequence of Sound, Stereogum, Slate, and more. Fans can hear the radical masterpiece in its entirety early, streaming via NPR First Listen and CBC Music First Play. Revered for their command of the studio and the stage, They Might Be Giants launch their world tour today beginning with a fifty-city trek across the US, then on to Europe, and beyond.
