Following the release of their previous collaboration 'Only You', Theophilus London and Tame Impala have unveiled their brand new single, 'Whiplash' - which was premiered on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show as his World Record.
With Theophilus and Tame Impala previously teaming up on 'Only You', the track was named as Annie Mac's Hottest Record, with the single also gained backing from the likes of Clara Amfo, Nick Grimshaw, Adele Roberts, and MistaJam following a premiere from Virgil Abloh at Beats 1.
Citing influences that include Michael Jackson and Prince as well as Kraftwerk and The Smiths, Trinidadian-born American singer/rapper Theophilus Londonis best known for his delivery and bars, with the vocalist's recent performance of 'Whiplash' receiving rapturous reception at Peppermint Club in West Hollywood.
Packed with a dynamic blend of both artist's signature styles, Theophilus London's 'Whiplash' is set to drop on January 30th and precedes the release of his eagerly anticipated album, 'Bebey', released later this year.
