The Tubes, the San Francisco-based rock band, whose eponymous 1975 debut album included the rock anthem "White Punks on Dope", celebrate their return to the UK in November 2017 for six club dates, plus five arena concerts where they will support Alice Cooper. Get ready for non-stop theatrical mayhem and outstanding rock music from The Tubes.
The news of the UK tour dovetails with the August 11th release of The Tubes: "The A&M Years"
Box Set which includes the band's first five studio albums. The box set can be ordered from Amazon UK -

"We're thrilled to return to the country that started it all for us," says the Tubes frontman Fee Waybill. "I embrace my British heritage; the beer and the fish and chips and the best rock and roll fans in the world. The tour will be incredible fun."
The tour kicks off at Southampton's The Engine Rooms on Saturday 4th November, followed by
Bristol Fleece (5 Nov), Reading Sub 89 (6 Nov), Newcastle Boiler Shop(9 Nov), Edinburgh Liquid Room (10 Nov), Leeds First Direct Arena (*supporting Alice Cooper, 11 Nov), Glasgow SSE Hydro (*supporting Alice Cooper, 12 Nov), Birmingham Barclaycard Arena (*supporting Alice Cooper, 14 Nov), Manchester Arena (*supporting Alice Cooper, 15 Nov), London, SSE Wembley Arena (*supporting Alice Cooper, 16 Nov), and Norwich
Waterfront (17 Nov).
The band's over-the-top theatrical visual live performances are known to rock fans worldwide for their quasi-pornographic and satiric take on the media, consumerism, and politics, celebrated by lead singer Fee Waybill's deranged on-stage characters, including the larger-than-life fictitious platform-booted, drugged out British glam rock star Quay Lewd.
