Critically acclaimed group The Tenors (Fraser Walters, Victor Micallef, Clifton Murray and Remigio Pereira) make their way to PlayhouseSquare this June in support of their latest release Lead With Your Heart.

What images come to mind when you hear the word 'TENOR'? Well chances are, after you hear the brand new album Lead With Your Heart from this exhilarating Canadian quartet, your impressions of that word will be redefined, refreshed and enlivened.

These four young men with amazing talent and incredible voices have come together to create music from their hearts. The Tenors originate from all over Canada and their roots are as diverse as their music. In addition to their amazing voices, they also play instruments on stage, are incredibly charming, and devoted to their philanthropic endeavors around the world. "Lead With Your Heart" isn't just the title of their latest album, it's their mantra as well.

Their hit PBS special, Lead With Your Heart: Live From Las Vegas, finds The Tenors effortlessly shifting from one musical genre to another.

"We go from an epic classical piece to a more contemporary piece to a crossover piece -- so you have everything, stretching from Bob Dylan's Forever Young to Lead With Your Heart to (Italian composer Giacomo Puccini's) Nessun Dorma."

All three of those songs appear on the Lead With Your Heart album, which is already a hit in the group's native country and will be released in the US Tuesday next week. The album includes special guest appearances from Christian singer Natalie Grant and classical trumpeter Chris Botti.

The tour will balance artfully crafted vocal arrangements with spontaneous interaction between the singers and their fans.

"In between the songs, we like to have a lot of fun with the audience," Walters says. "We're not scripted. We don't necessarily work it out beforehand. We like to fly by the seat of our pants. There are great moments that happen, as we go from city to city, that make it very exciting for us and especially meaningful for the audience, because they know they're getting a special show specific to that night."

In their short career, they have performed on The Oprah Winfrey Show (with Celine Dion), for Her Majesty The Queen during her Diamond Jubilee, the live broadcast of the 2011 Emmy Awards, at the opening ceremonies of Vancouver's 2010 Olympics, and for the NBA, MLB, and NHL All-Star Games.

Tickets are on sale Saturday, January 19th at 11am for The Tenors, June 16th, 2013, 7pm at PlayhouseSquare's Palace Theatre. Tickets start at just $10 at playhousesquare.org, 216-241-6000 or the PlayhouseSquare Ticket Office. For more information, visit the official website: www.tenorsmusic.com.
