Phoenix, AZ's The Summer Set is excited to announce the details for their new albumStories For Monday, slated to release on April 1, 2016. As a first listen for fans, the band has released the new music video for lead track "Figure Me Out" which serves up a pairing of the band's irresistibly catchy melodies, with lead singer Brian Logan Dales' most honest lyrics to date.
"I almost gave up on music last year. Then I wrote this song. It's funny how the most important ones come to you when you least expect it," explains Dales. "I was hiding away at my parent's house in Arizona, afraid that none of the songs written for the record were cohesive and that we were missing something important, and then one night after midnight I wrote this song all alone on the piano in the house I grew up in. It was cathartic and it changed the whole album process for me. This song made the other ones make sense."
Stories For Monday is now available for physical pre-order. Visit TheSummerSet.com to watch the music video for "Figure Me Out" and pre-order the new album now. Stay tuned for a the band's tour announcement coming this Tuesday, January 26th.
