The String Cheese Incident to Headline Three New Year's Eve Shows, 12/29-31

The String Cheese Incident will return to Broomfield, Colorado and the 1stBank Center for the third year in a row to play a series of New Year's Eve headline Incidents -- December 29, 30 and 31. The Incidents will be presented by AEG Live and KBCO, tickets go on sale beginning Wednesday, October 8th at 11am MST via SCI Ticketing through the band's website: stringcheeseincident.com, followed by a general public on-sale on Saturday, October 11th at 10am MST.

Single day tickets will be available as well as a discounted three-day ticket package, with both GA Floor & GA Bowl options available.

The NYE Incident will feature three full sets from SCI, and 12/31 has sold out the last two years, so tickets are expected to sell quickly. Ultimate Incident VIP Packages will include tickets and hotel accommodations - stay for up to three nights at the luxurious Westin Westminster Hotel just minutes from the venue. Enjoy VIP access and seating at the Incidents including a special "meet and greet" pre-party and private acoustic set with SCI, and limited edition NYE merchandise and gear. The band had a big summer headlining several major festivals including Electric Forest in Michigan, Lockn' Music Festival in Virginia, Wakarusa in Arkansas and Phases of the Moon Festival in Illinois. The band will also be headlining their three-night Halloween extravaganza Suwannee Hulaween in Live Oak, Florida on October 31, November 1 and 2 before hitting the road for their own East Coast headline tour, which begins November 4, 2014 in Washington DC (tour dates listed below). The String Cheese Incident released Song In My Head, the band's first studio album in nine years, April 29, 2014 on SCI Fidelity Records/Loud & Proud Records. The album was produced by Jerry Harrison of the Talking Heads and includes 10 new songs written collaboratively by the group over the past few years. The album debuted at number 1 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart.

The String Cheese Incident formed in Crested Butte and Telluride, Colorado in 1993. Over the years, the band, Bill Nershi (guitars and vocals), Michael Kang (mandolin, violin, guitar and vocals), Keith Moseley (bass and vocals), Michael Travis (drums and percussion), Kyle Hollingsworth (keyboards and vocals) and Jason Hann (percussion), has played over 1,500 Incidents, including their own festivals and incidents across the country and they have been hailed for their commitment to musical creativity and integrity, community spirit, philanthropic endeavors and their innovative approach to the business of music.
