The Rubens Third Album Debuts at #3 on ARIA Album Chart + Touring Nationally with P!NK

In fantastic news for beloved Menangle band The Rubens, their mighty third album LO LA RU - a bold and confident record that effortlessly picks up from where their Hottest 100 topping single 'Hoops' left off - has debuted at #3 on the ARIA Album Chart. LO LA RUfollows the band's first two LPs, 2012's The Rubens (#3 ARIA Album Chart, certified Platinum) and 2015's Hoops (#2 ARIA Album Chart, certified Gold).

Described by triple j (who chose the record as Feature Album), as "the most assured we've heard The Rubens yet", LO LA RU features current hit radio song 'Never Ever' with Sarah Aarons - a relatable and heart wrenching tale with Sam Margin and Sarah's voices acting as yin and yang, so different, but so perfectly matched and harmonious within the track.

It's going to be a huge second half of the year for The Rubens. The band are currently four shows into the mammoth sold-out 42-date arena tour supporting megastar P!NK on her Australian and New Zealand run of shows to over half a million people over the next two months.
