LA-based punk act The Regrettes have released a politically-charged new video for their song, "Seashore," off their critically acclaimed debut album, Feel Your Feelings, Fool! Entertainment Weekly premieres the video today, describing the video as, "a big middle-finger to men who underestimate or belittle young women." The video features singer Lydia Night depicting scenes of oppressed women throughout history. Director Claire Vogel explains, "I wanted to pair the defiance of the lyrics with a handful of historical vignettes that embrace women taking control of situations that have held them back. I wanted each scene to hint at how people might have freely spoken their inner thoughts in those moments should they have had the privilege." Yesterday, the band kicked off a headlining tour across the U.S., which will be followed by a U.K. tour with SWMRS this fall. A full list of dates is below.
