San Francisco-based rock band The New Up release their sophomore album Tiny Mirrors today. Politically charged yet intensely introspective, raw in emotion yet cinematic in scope, the album features acclaimed singles "Black Swan," "Future Is Now," and "No Fly Zone." The New Up will play a hometown show with Rogue Wave on February 24th, followed by a national tour that kicks off on April 4th and sees the band hitting both coasts.
A timely project released during the country's most divided condition in recent history, Tiny Mirrors explores the notion of overcoming disconnection with its buzzing synths and serpentine riffs, indelible melodies, and sprawling arrangements. Produced with Jack Frost (Antarctica/BlackRock), the album also marks the band's first endeavor collaborating with an outside producer. With praise from the likes of Impose, Substream Magazine, and CRAVE,
The New Up recently debuted in the CMJ Top 200 and continue to climb the charts.
In celebration of release,
The New Up recently appeared on Sacramento's KTXL Fox 40
Morning Show to discuss the new album and to perform lead single "Black Swan." Be sure to catch their kinetic live show in a city near you - full date listing below!
