The Madison Square Garden Company (NYSE: MSG) today announced that Josephine Vaccarello has been promoted to senior vice president, MSG Live, effective immediately after serving most recently as vice president, concerts, family entertainment and ticketing, MSG Live. Vaccarello will continue to oversee all aspects of MSG Live including family entertainment and ticketing. Vaccarello will continue to report to Darren Pfeffer, executive vice president, MSG Live.
As senior vice president, Vaccarello will be responsible for family entertainment and performing arts at Madison Square Garden, the Theater at Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, the Beacon Theatre, The
Chicago Theatre and the Wang Theatre in Boston. Vaccarello will continue to support the bookings department and deliver the company's cross functionality of its portfolio of venues to maximize growth to the overall business. In addition, Vaccarello will be responsible for maintaining existing business and develop awareness for MSGs concert and family entertainment businesses as a leader in the entertainment industry. She will also assist Pfeffer in identifying potential opportunities for the company such as multi-night, multi-market concert bookings, artist residencies, radio shows, theme based series, and newly created content live entertainment events by growing greater range and diversity of musical, theatrical, family performances and rentals booked across all venues.

Throughout Vaccarello's career at
The Madison Square Garden Company, she has successfully contributed to the bookings division in securing top arena shows including Z100's Jingle Ball,
Kevin Hart and Andrea Bocelli, a multi-market deal for
Louis C.K. at Madison Square Garden, The
Chicago Theatre and the Wang Theatre in Boston as well as playing an instrumental role in the
Billy Joel MSG residencies. She has also been responsible for leading the bookings and marketing strategy on family entertainment and theatrical properties for the Theater at Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, the Beacon Theatre, The
Chicago Theatre and the Wang Theatre in Boston including popular family shows such as Sesame Street Live!, Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical, A Christmas Story and Elf the Musical.
Vaccarello joined the company under Radio City Entertainment in 1998 and transitioned in 2000 to the position of coordinator, concerts and entertainment and has elevated in the department from manager, to director to vice president. She is a graduate of SUNY, Albany with a bachelor's degree in communications.
