Founded in 2008, The Love Markets are a Weimar Berlin-inspired band who make songs of love and revolution. Guided by the exploratory artistic spirit of 1920s Berlin, the mission of The Love Markets is to create and perform new songs that resonate with that spirit and to re-interpret vintage Weimar cabaret for the world of today. Uniformed in military lingerie and armed with an arsenal of genre-bending songs that showcase the band's emotional range and intoxicating theatricality, The Love Markets are equally at home in a dark bar, a grand theatre, and a carnival tent. The Love Markets have performed at City Arts Fest, Seattle International Cabaret Festival, TV's ArtZone with Nancy Guppy, Seattle Art Museum, ACT, Can Can, as special guests in concert with Seattle Men's Chorus, as "house band" for Open Space's Burlesco Notturno, and as perennial musical hosts of the Gregory Awards for Excellence In Theatre. The Love Markets' debut CD, World Of Your Dreams, will be available August 2013, featuring eleven songs by Love Markets singer-pianist Angie Louise and two songs by Weimar composer Hanns Eisler .

Launched in 2007, The Central Heating Lab at ACT serves as an incubator and catalyst for new works. ACT cultivates, produces, and presents artists working in all performance genres and provides an artistic home for a variety of local performance groups and artists. Relationships develop daily with individual actors, performers and playwrights while established partnerships with groups such as the Azeotrope, The Seagull Project, 14/48, Seattle Dance Project, and Icicle Creek Theatre Festival grow and develop. New programs are added throughout the year. With year-round programming produced by The Central Heating Lab at ACT alongside ACT's Mainstage plays, ACT offers its patrons a unique opportunity to maximize their theatre experience - the ACTPass: all you can see for only $30 per month. ACTPass Members can attend nearly all ACT produced performances throughout any given month, provided tickets are available. It is the new, more flexible, more affordable way to see more performances for one low price, and is the first of its kind in the region. ACTPass members may cancel at any time, and there is no limit to the number of times a Pass Member can attend.
