Two of his former students, Peyman Farzinpour and Daniele Venturi, will also have premieres alongside John McLachlan and Manzoni's American contemporary, Martin Boykan. Works by Columbia University's own Georg Friedrich Haas and Fred Lerdahl accompany those of Dina Koston and Robert Martin.

The evening's magnificent featured performers are the Cygnus Ensemble, soprano Elizabeth Farnum, and two guitar quartets: Bodies Electric and the Queens-based Sheer Pluck.
All guests are welcome to attend a post-concert reception in the Academy's library.
