The Horrors released new single "Weighed Down" today. With dub influences and a pulsing electronic beat, the third single from new album V reveals a different side than the two previous singles. The Guardian described it as "squalling, elegant melancholia" with the track's experimental middle 8 swirling straight into a haunting finale. The band is also set to return to the US for two intimate shows in New York City, September 18 & 19 at Rough Trade NYC.

"Weighed Down" is from the band's new album V, out September 22. The album shows the group at the peak of their powers, exhibiting a freedom and sense of exploration that feels truly liberating. Previous single "Something To Remember Me By" has been hailed by as one of their best tracks to-date with Stereogum naming the song it's "Best Song Of the Week" noting, "they've added another masterwork in their collection of epics, a song that promises nearly-nonstop catharsis."
